Celebrate Your Special Event in a Special Place...

Wild Goose Farm is a beautiful venue set in historic Shepherdstown, WV. Just 90 minutes from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, the grounds feature rolling pastures, beautiful azure ponds, and woodlands watered by natural springs. The mansion, gala barn, and a picturesque collection of outbuildings serve as a wonderful reminder of the farm's rich cultural and social history. In recognition of its historic and architectural significance, Wild Goose Farm was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

Our Unique Venue

About Our Barn

Our Pennsylvania bank barn was originally constructed in 1840. New renovations on the lower level of the barn were completed in August 2018. Both upper and lower levels are now fully heated and air conditioned for year-round comfort. The upper level offers 3250 square feet of open beamed space which can be decorated to fit any occasion. The lower level provides spacious and comfortable changing suites for the bridal party and groomsmen, large men’s and women’s bathrooms, a catering kitchen, and a spacious seating area with bistro sets. The lower level renovations were designed with great care to preserve the historic features of the barn, while providing guests with a festive setting of comfort and elegance.

The setting is exquisitely private. It is perfect for weddings, special anniversaries, reunions and birthdays, corporate retreats, music events, and art exhibits. The possibilities for beginning, renewing, dreaming, inspiring, and challenging are endless.

And they can begin here at Wild Goose . . .
